I was born, raised and lived my first 22 years in Philadelphia, PA. In the sixth grade I took my first photography class and caught the fever for making photos. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in History and a BA in Sneaking into the Darkroom & Borrowing Every Piece of Available Equipment. After I finished my degrees I grabbed a backpack and hit the road for two years, making photos wherever I went, from Japan to Europe. I eventually settled in San Francisco, where I lived for 11 years and made the decision to pursue photography full-time.  I spent much of my free time driving long distances to seek out and shoot landscapes.  I think it was those long solo drives that ultimately drove me to portrait photography. After all that time by myself,  I craved something more, more interaction, more connection, people. Now I’m a Brooklyn based photographer whose work focuses on people, events, weddings and portraiture with a strong point of view. My work has been featured in international publications, advertising and all types of media.

Why is it that I love Weddings? Simple: your wedding day is one of the most memorable days of your life. I want to tell the story of that day, collaborating with you to capture the people, the interactions and the emotions of your wedding day in a timeless, classic way.

Thank you so much for taking the time looking at my work. I hope we can work together.
